Waterfall \u00abShypit\u00bb<\/h2>\n

Waterfall \u00abShypit\u00bb held in various guidebooks as one of the most beautiful in Transcarpathia. It is situated at small river Pilipets in Transcarpathia. Its water falls in numerous cascades. In spring, thanks melt water, waterfall particularly charming. Its total height is 14 m.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Shenborn’s hunting castle<\/h2>\n

In the town named Chynadiyevo between cities of Mukachevo and Svalyava the Shenborn’s hunting castle is situated. The castle had been perfectly preserved. In 1890 in place of a wooden house there was built the castle, consisting of 12 entrances (by number of months in the year), 52 rooms (by number of weeks in the year), 365 windows (by number of days in the year). The castle building has four towers, each of different form. Interior decoration impresses by its beauty: splendid fireplaces, wooden staircases, heraldic lions… Since 1946 in the castle complex started sanatorium \u00abCarpathians\u00bb.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

\"Synevyr<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Synevyr lake<\/h2>\n

Synevyr is the largest and the most beautiful mountain lake in Carpathians. It is often called \u00abSea eye\u00bb and \u00abCarpathian pearl\u00bb. Lake surrounded by forest of spruce and beech of hundreds years of age. Trunks of the trees are several girths of thickness. Lake water is so clean, that the lakes bottom can be seen. The air here is fresh and light and is filled of aromas of needles like nowhere else. The lake is situated at altitude of 989 meters high above the sea. Average depth of the lake \u2013 10-12, maximum \u2013 24 meters. The lake was formed in the postglacial period.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The church of Nicolas thaumaturge in Podobivets<\/h2>\n

Nicolas thaumaturge church with the belfry in Podobivets village is the unique example of the carpathian wooden architechture. The church was built roughly between 1700 and 1785 years.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

\"Tustan\"<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Tustan<\/h2>\n

Tustan – old military complex, customs and the city-fortress. Its ruins are in the Carpathian mountains (Eastern Beskydy). During four centuries, since second half of IX till middle of XIII century, a mighty wooden castle Tustan stood on rocks. It was built by nobility of White Croats. Tustan was an important strategic place and was a part of the Carpathian (Hungarian) defence line at south-west borders of Kievan Rus and later Galicia-Volyn principality.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Dovbush rocks<\/h2>\n

These are the remains of monastery. Later there was a fortress. There are many legends and stories about these caves. Some people says these structures are connected with leaders of carpathian rebels, named Opryshky, hiding in there and particular with the name of Oleksa Dovbush.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Makivka mountain<\/h2>\n

A military memorial cemetry for Ukrainian Sichovi Striltsi (USS). It was rebuilt in years 1998-99 in honor of region heroes (USS) who were fallen in battle against Russian Empire army in April-May of 1915 during the World War I.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
